Frank AndrinaFrank Andrina

Frank Andrina began his career at Disney Studios in 1954. In the early 1960s he jumped over to Hanna-Barbera as an animator on The Jetsons, The Beatles, Wacky Races and the independent animated feature Shinbone Alley in 1971.

In 1973-1974 he was at Ron Campbell Films, animating on The Big Blue Marble. Then he went back to Hanna-Barbera to work on TheHair Bear Bunch, Jabberjaw, A Flintstone Christmas, Superfriends, Scooby Doo, and Kwicky Koala.

Frank was particularly good at giving a sense of elegance and drama to his action/adventure animation. When TV animation moved overseas Frank became an Animation Director and worked on dozens of series. In 1992 he worked on Monster in My Pocket: The Big Scream .He is nicknamed Sir Frank because of his interest in collecting antique weapons and armor, and books on the Age of Chivalry.
