Vincente Bassols was raised in Spain where he received his art training and also learned animation in the mid 50s. But he soon moved to the US and worked as an animator at Hanna-Barbera and Filmation. He became an Animation Director at Disney TV then moved to Warner Bros TV where he became the longest-employed Animation Director on the Batman show. His elegant and precise directorial notes were admired and appreciated by all who worked with him. Vicente is retired and living in Barcelona, Spain and is the subject of a long magazine piece about his career in Hollywood animation.
