Lefty Callahan began his career in 1951. Over the course of his career he worked at LaBrea Productions, John Sutherland Productions, working on public information and industrial advertising cartoons, Earl Klein Productions, MGM and Hanna-Barbera.
His animation credits include Johnny Quest, The Jetsons, Hillbilly Bears, Fantastic Four, Scooby Doo, Secret Squirrel, Where's Huddles, Josie and the Pusstcats, Pebbles and Bamm Bamm, Tom and Jerry, Flintstones Christmas, Dynomutt, The Smurfs, Kwicky Koala, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Hagar the Horrible,and lots more. He was the Director on Yogi's Great Escape.
