Burny Mattinson began at the Disney Studio in1953 and spent his entire career with the company. He moved, as assignments allowed, thru Inbetweening, Breakdown, Assistant Animator to Staff Animator. Burny has writing and storyboard credits on The Rescuers, story credits on The Fox and the Hound, The Great Mouse Detective,Beauty and the Beast, The Black Cauldron, Aladdin, The Lion Kingand Mickey's Christmas Carol. He was the Producer and Director on Mickey's Christmas Carol and The Great Mouse Detective.He was an animator on Robin Hood and Winnie the Pooh.
