Joanna RomersaJoanna Romersa took two years of drawing classes at UCLA then went to Disney Studios as an inker. She worked on Lady and the Trampand the beginning of Sleeping Beauty.
In 1963 she went to Hanna-Barbera, took the test for inbetweening and passed easily. Joanna did Assistant Animation and Animation work for Hanna-Barbera, Walter Lantz, Ruby-Spears, Filmation and Sanrio. She was Assistant Animation Supervisor on Jetsons, the Movie and was Co-Director on the feature Scooby Doo in Arabian Nights. Joanna was a Supervising Director on the Porchlight Productions series Book of Vitues. She recently worked as an Animation Director for Disney Features and DVD with assignments on Lady and the Tramp II, Fox and the Hound II, Teacher's Pet, The Piglet Movieand The Heffalump Movie.
