Ann Sullivan Ann Sullivan

Ann Sullivan began at Disney as a Cel Painter in 1952. She was also trained to mix paint from Disney's dry powder stock. She worked on Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, and the Goofy How toshorts. In 1955 she left to raise a family and re-entered the business at Hanna-Barbera in 1979. The first time she saw a cel with the sketchy Xerox line on it she thought the Inker was going to be in serious trouble. Ann worked there until 1986 and had her first computer training experience. She moved back to Disney and painted for 3 years. After a long layoff she volunteered to learn Disney's CAP system and she worked on The Lion King and several other features until her retirement in 2002. Ann served on the Animation Guild's Board for 12 years and is now painting oils and serves as Vice President of The Malibu Art Association.
