Disney animator and director TED BERMAN died on July 15, 2001 at the age of eighty-one. Berman started at Disney in 1940 as a character animator, working on Bambi, Alice In Wonderland, Fantasia, Lady And The Tramp, Peter Pan, Mary Poppins and 101 Dalmatians. He helped create The Mickey Mouse Club and The Wonderful World Of Color, and he worked on the story of The Rescuers, The Fox And The Hound and The Black Cauldron, which he also co-directed with Richard Rich.
