From the July 1998 Peg-Board
SHERMAN LABBY, longtime storyboard and layout artist on the east and west coasts, died June 1, 1998. Sherman began his career in Local 841, moving west in 1966. Through the '60s, '70s and '80s, Sherman worked at Filmation, Hanna-Barbera, and Ralph Bakshi, among others. Mr. Labby also had an extensive career storyboarding in live action.
