These forms are to be used to apply for grants to take the indicated classes ONLY. Grants are not available for any other schools or courses.

The grants are for two-thirds reimbursement of class fees. You will have to pay the class fee in full in advance, and then you will be reimbursed by CSATTF upon successful completion.

1. Contact Studio Arts to determine if the class you are interested in is what you're looking for, if it will be available on a day and time when you can take it, and if you can meet the prerequisites. Class descriptions are available on the Studio Arts website. Please do not apply for grants for more classes than you can expect to be able to take in the grant period (June 2005-January 2006).

1. Once Studio Arts has confirmed that the class(es) you want are available, fill out all the attached forms. You will have to show proof of employment at an employer signed to the Local 839 contract; non-union employment does not count.

The following classes will be the first in a series offered by Studio Arts for those members interested in taking advantage of the CSATTF grant.  Class costs will be reimbursed to the member by CSATTF at a rate of 2/3rds the cost of the class after their completion. 

All classes run from 6 pm to 10 pm. Please note that not all classes covered under the CSATTF grant are offered in Summer 1 session.

Alias Maya Classes ($1,500 per class; $1,000 reimbursed upon completion)

• PhotoShop 110 - Introduction to PhotoShop
• PhotoShop 210 - Intermediate PhotoShop for Film and Video (2nd session, late July, 2005)
• PhotoShop 310 - Advanced*
• PhotoShop 315 - PhotoShop for Compositing*

Autodesk (discreet) combustion Classes ($1,500 per class; $1,000 reimbursed upon completion)

• Intro to Combustion

Macromedia Flash Classes ($1,500 per class; $1,000 reimbursed upon completion)

• Macromedia Flash for TV Animation

* not offered for Summer 1 Session.
